Nordic Conference and Opening Ceremony of NorthX Innovation Hub

Welcome to a unique conference experience in Northern Sweden. Here you will meet the frontrunners of Advanced Biologics and get acquainted with the capabilities of Nordic ATMP infrastructure. We are inaugurating the NorthX Innovation Hub, in the presence of Swedish Minister of Industrial Affairs, Ms Ebba Busch. During a two-day program, we combine outstanding presentations and engaging panels featuring BioNTech, the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine, and the Karolinska Institute, along with spectacular festivities.

Location and transport

The event will take place at NorthX Biologics, located at Storjordenvägen 2, Matfors. For transportation to Matfors, there are two main options:

  • NorthX arranges transportation on your behalf: 
    A chartered bus will depart from Stockholm Central Station at 07:00, arriving at 12:00. This option includes a lunch break, at one's own expense. Please note that this is a one way trip. You are welcome to stay in Matfors, this magical place, or you book your travel back on your own.

  • You can arrange your transportation independently:
    • The most common travel options are by train to Sundsvall Central Station or by flying to Timrå Airport. From there, a taxi ride to the site will take approximately 20 or 35 minutes, respectively.

    Please note that the evening reception on the 27th will be held at Clarion Hotel Sundsvall at 18:15. Transportation from the site to the reception venue will be arranged by NorthX for this occasion.

Get to know the host and the surroundings

NorthX Biologics is a CDMO and Innovation Hub in Advanced Biologics, with +30 years of GMP experience. Our history goes way back, already in the 1960s our site was home to pharmaceutical development. But it was only in 2021 that we became NorthX, standing on our own two feet as a company. This means we have the wisdom and experience of someone born in the 60's, while benefiting of the grit that comes with being a one year old. Check out who we are in the movie!

Our beautiful surroundings have stayed the same all this time, with nature so unique it has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Therefore, we came up with a conference out of the ordinary, pushing the frontiers of our minds together during the first day, and enjoying the creativity sparked by joint leisure activities in the second day. Choose from a range of activities including rock climbing, horse back riding, sailing or gin tasting!
